Beginner Dog Obedience: Mondays • 6:15 - 7:15 pm • Option #1

Details:

  • Mondays

  • 6:15 - 7:15 pm

  • 1 hour per week

  • 6 consecutive weeks

  • Humane Society of Kent County - Training Center

Topics Covered:

  • Basic commands (sit, down, stay, walking on loose leash, “leave it”)

  • No previous training required; can be used as a “refresher”

Enrolment Requirements:

  • Dogs should be 5 months of age or older

  • Proof of vaccinations for DHLPP, Bordetella & Rabies required; a current Titer test is also acceptable

2010 Class Schedule:

  • January 11 - February 15

  • March 1 - April 5

  • April 19 - May 24

  • June 7 - July 19 (no class on July 5)

  • July 26 - August 30

  • September 20 - October 25

  • November 8 - December 13

Cost:

 

  • Fee is $75 per dog ($65 if adopted from the Humane Society)
  • Fee is non-refundable starting one week prior to the first date of class
  • $20 rebate upon completion if your dog is an Argus Friend
  • Owners can “audit” the class without a dog at lower cost of $35
