Hadley Update August 21, 2009:

First of all, thank you to all who have donated to Hadley's medical care and all who have been following his progress, wishing him well, sending cards and keeping him in your thoughts.

We are all happy to report that Hadley is doing fantastic - recovering very well. Hadley has been neutered and got through his surgery successfully. He's in fantastic spirits and loves to play with any kind of string. His burns are healing well, in fact all of the dead burned skin has been removed and he's growing new skin. Everything looks really healthy. Plus, he doesn't have to be bandaged at night, which means no raw, open wounds. He's still enjoying his favorite spot on the windowsill in the veterinary clinic and his new comfy bed. Below are some pictures of Hadley enjoying his window spot.

We are also now accepting applications to adopt Hadley. We do have some restrictions that will be specific to his new household, but we hope to find him the purr-fect home! Individuals who are interested in adopting Hadley can download our cat adoption application here

Please send completed adoption applications to the address below or fax in to (616) 453-5752, Attn: Karen Terpstra. You can also e-mail them to karen@hskc.org. We will be accepting applications until August 31.
