Volunteering
Thank you for
your interest in volunteering with the Humane Society! Whether you
assist with animal care or help out in the office, you will
be playing an important role in helping to make sure that
every pet is a wanted pet.

Volunteer Orientations are scheduled for the following

volunteer position entails.
Once you have completed
the single orientation session you may register in the
training course for dog, cat, or small critter handling,
along with many other volunteer positions. Please bring $10 for a
t-shirt and $5 if you would like to purchase lunch to the
volunteer training.

Because of the amount
of time invested in training, we ask that you commit to a
regularly scheduled volunteering shift. We also prefer that
you make at least a six-month commitment.
Please note that
children under 15 years of age must volunteer with an adult
at all times. We also ask that all 15 and 16 year old
volunteers be accompanied by an adult through training and
their first few volunteering shifts.
